The scenic area was forced to close due to mudslides triggered by heavy rain from Typhoon Noul.

China enters its peak flood control window – known as Qixia Bashang – with weather experts warning that extreme rainfall will increase in frequency and intensity over the coming weeks, particularly in northern China.
